Jody's Dollie

I started Dollie in Watercolor on 300 lb HP paper

 I then applied Indian ink with a fine brush. Here I was about to throw it away as she looked like a black ALF. I then applied Golden acrylic ground for pastels and finished with soft pastels and pastel pencils.

  Completed this Painting. I was debating going over it in pastel but decided I like the light of the watercolor. This painting is 14X22 on 300 lb Arches cold pressed paper. It will be for sale on thearthivecollective.com.

 This is the latest painting I am working on . I have been painting a lot of birds recently and just finished a Domestica course that was subtitled from Spanish. A lot more detail to go on the bird so I must get at it!
